The absolute nearest and unique hotel. The Restoration has a great location. We literally walked everywhere we went. The staff were great and always so helpful. This will be our forever go to hotel.

Employees were super friendly & helpful! We used the hotel transportation (jeep) several times which was very nice & kept us from walking so much. The drivers were great! Rooms were so big & nice. Very clean. Made for a very pleasant experience!

The hotel puts on a nice performance to appear trendy, but when it comes to basic care for its guests, it falls short. In addition to a cockroach in the room, the A/C stopped working overnight and by 4am became intolerable for us and our baby, leaving us with very little sleep. While the overnight staff kindly moved us to a new room, the morning staff lead showed zero regret or remorse for the situation. He begrudgingly offered one extra hour of late check out upon request, and demanded we pay 150$ / hr for anything further. He treated our lack of sleep and attempts to recover as if it was our fault, not the hotel’s broken A/C. We will go somewhere else next time that shows more care for its guests.

The property was excellent, rooms very roomy,clean and great decor. The morning breakfast basket at your door was also a nice touch! Very walkable to shops restaurants and close to all different types of activities. Nice roof top restaurant. All the employees were helpful and very courteous.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked because of proximity to Charleston Place (where I had a meeting) and loved this hotel. From the nice room with drinks in the fridge and full-sized toiletries (not attached to the walls), the comfy robes and the morning breakfast basket - every aspect of my stay was just lovely. I come to town every year and I will hopefully be able to book this hotel again.

The front desk staff seemed inexperienced and unprepared to handle basic customer service needs. They were unable to provide solutions for any of the issues we faced during our stay, and when asked questions about Charleston—a relatively small city—they had no helpful information. It's essential that hotel staff, especially those at the front desk who represent the establishment, are knowledgeable, accommodating, and proactive in ensuring guests have a pleasant stay. Our room was not adequately cleaned, with noticeable stains on the walls and carpet, and hair from previous guests in the bathroom. The TV didn't work throughout our stay, despite staff checking it on two consecutive days without resolving the issue. Once again, the front desk was not helpful when approached about this problem. The pool, located on the roof, is more of a small soaking tub rather than a swimming pool, which may be disappointing if you were expecting to swim. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortable. Overall, the most disappointing aspect was the lack of professionalism and poor customer service.

Charleston Crew Getaway
RH was absolutely PERFECT! We had 5 couples on this getaway and we all had a fabulous experience at RH. The staff, rooms, housekeeping and rooftop dining staff were all amazing! The food and drink at the rooftop were also excellent! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
