The hotel is close to the sky tower and in a convenient position. Hotel is clean and rooms spacious. However renovations were being completed when we stayed that we were unaware of and started around 7.30am hammering and moving furniture on the floor above our room. This was advised to the desk who apologised and issued a free drink voucher. Have stayed before and would stay again but would check first for renovations. Parking was easy and slightly discounted as a hotel guest.

The room was amazing however the front desk did call saying there was a noise complaint about loud music and there was no music playing or any sound coming from the room we were in as we were just relaxing in bed.

Pretty disappointed - Pillows were rock hard - Loby and outside of the hotel were so stunning but the rooms and other areas of the hotel were incredibly run down. - We had a cleaner come into our room a hour before check out while we were still asleep ! - Room service was insanely expensive - Shower sounded terrible - Heating was hard to work out so room was very cold - milk in fridge was already open - There was no where stated on Expedia that there was a $50 deposit and we were told if we don’t pay it we can’t check in - Pool later was flimsy and dangerous Wouldn’t recommend

Location is perfect. Nice walk to everything CBD Auckland. Hotel was clean, tidy and spacious. The bathroom was another matter. The shower pressure was terribly poor and very hard to get a satisfactory temperature - either scolding or cold. The bath plug wouldn’t hold pressure so it emptied the bath. Plus the cold sore plasters suck around the sink.

Winter in Auckland
Room was cold. Heater setting on max and still had to wear jacket in the room. Wooden floors were not helping either. They had a nice breakfast buffet downstairs.

Great welcome to the hotel from staff member Jordan, friendly and helpful and his personality shone. I will stay every time I visit at this hotel from now on. Only thing I was not happy with was breakfast was the cold porridge x2, and eggs etc not hot.
