There wer 5 elevators; only 1-2 worked at a time, so more often than not, you needed to take the stairs. Housekeeping came only once-after we asked; we had to seek out TP and kleenex, as we ran out on day 2 of 4. Holes in walls present, odd odor in room and hallways, stains on sheets and overall worn down appearance. Fridge was warm rather than cold. Guests could be heard in the hallway at all hours, with 2am party in hallway for an hour on the last night. Had to ask guest to go into their rooms and out of hallway-that only made things worse.

The common areas of Le Meridien are clean and welcoming but the condition of the room wasn't great. There was staining on the wallpaper, the wallpaper was peeling in several areas, the luggage rack was broken, and some of the furniture looked tired. For the price of my stay, i expected a better maintained room.

The walls are made of paper and they have a loud 2 AM bar on the roof so the place is full of drunkards. I asked our neighbor not to slam his door at 3 AM and was propositioned for a fight. They also have zero security, and people can go from the bar to any floor with the elevators. I never feel the need to leave a review, but this place was a nightmare

great place to stay for the weekend
we come to Charlotte for the attractions and the LeMeridien was a great spot to stay for the weekend. They have a fantastic gym, pool looked inviting (did not use) and front desk was top notch. My only complaint is the short toliets in the bathroom

I enjoyed my stay at the Le Meridian. The staff was amazing and helped me with any concerns. The room and amenities were clean. It came with a nice view and complimentary water. It was very easy to check in and out. I wasn’t the biggest fan of having to pay for parking each night, but it was convenient to have somewhere safe to park. I think it would be nice if hotel guests who are staying overnight get free parking. The hotel does host events, so sometimes it can cause the elevator to be super slow and extra traffic throughout the hotel. Other than that, I would stay here again with no hesitation.
