This is such a gorgeous--and historic--hotel! Lovely chandeliers, marble floors, art deco furnishings .... Peyton and Jessica at the reception were The Most Welcoming and Helpful Personnel ever. Lovely pool, too, which is always a drawing card for me.... My only suggestion would be to add a clock in the room where the pool is situated.

The property is very unique. The decor is beautiful and visiting at Christmas was magical. It was very clean, staff were courteous. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Only downside. The food at the bar was sub par. We would highly recommend a stay.

This is such a beautiful and unique hotel experience. Renovated recently and still looks fresh. Staff were nice and the room was gorgeous and spacious. Highly recommend this hotel and visit the ghost room. We were going to learn to make pasta and felt safe walking 0.9 miles to the cooking venue.

This hotel is stunning. We went near Christmas and it was amazing. The lobby level hallways were lined with beautiful Christmas trees. The room was spacious and clean. You are greeted at the door with the valet and doorman. There is a great restaurant right down stairs. Overall, nothing but praise for the Read House.
