I had a great time at the hotel during my stay. The location is convenient, because it is close to a shopping mall, attractions and many dining areas. Customers service was excellent.The only issue I had was with my bedroom. The furnitures were not that great, specially the bed I was sleeping at. It felt like it was going to fall down. It certainly needs repair. Also, the sofa and other things in the room appeared old and they were many visible torned spots.

We got there around midnight with 2 kids very tired. Got to room and keys didnt work so back down to desk and had to wait 10 more min till they finished with another complaining customer. Back up to the room to put kids to bed and pull back covers and sheets are all wrinkled with many long black hairs on sheets. Called desk to complain and they asked if we wanted them to come change sheets! Of course we did. We waited another 25 min for someone to come change sheets and they brought disgusting stained sheets so had to wait till they went and got other sheets. As we went to sit on couch and wait we were disgusted to find someones toenails on couch. So disgusting! Front desk did finally change sheets and clean up toenails. Next day went to shower and long hairs all in bathtub so it was obviously not cleaned either. We would have left as soon as we saw sheets in beginning but all hotels in area were booked up for whole weekend. Needless to say we did not stay another night.

Both days we stayed, the breakfast ran out early and no one bothered to replace it. Our toilet seat was cracked. The manager just walked in our room with no knock or anything and said it was an accident. The pool and hot tub smelled really badly like mildew.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. Our family was spending the weekend at Six Flags, so we were not seeking luxury. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub are nice and have handicap accessibility. For folks looking to shop, it’s incredibly close to Gurnee Mills, so you could walk there. Overall, if you are simply looking for a clean, quiet, safe place to sleep and swim, it’s a nice place.

Enjoyed our stay! We just wanted a place to get away for a long weekend, and enjoyed the cleanliness and affordability of our stay. The property definitely could benefit from some minor maintenance that was not an issue for us as it was mostly cosmetic things that did not effect our stay. Most of the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and overall will more than likely be back for a weekend trip in the future.

Don’t stay here, your car is a better option
This hotel and room is really gross, and there was a bug in my room as well as dirty sheets, headboards are disgusting, looks like this hasn’t been cleaned properly in years. The staff is nice but I wouldn’t stay here again if someone paid me to. I was scared to touch anything or let my stuff touch anything. The blankets stunk like they also weren’t washed. The staff was nice but I think they live in the hotel, which is awkward. The pool is over saturated with chemicals and no ventilation so it’s really hard to breathe in there. I let my child swim for 5 minutes before we had to leave the room because we needed air. It was also a lot deeper than posted. My daughter is 49” tall and could barely touch the bottom at the 3’6” shallow end. The shallow end ladder was out of order as well. The whole hotel needs to be deep cleaned, repainted, floors redone, new linens and furniture. The lamps had something splattered on them, under the bathroom sink the wall had something splattered, sheets were stained and not changed, blankets smelled like body odor, headboard was sticky with hairs all over it, outlets didn’t work in the lamps. I’m not sure what bug it was crawling on the floor because my husband killed it without the light on. Breakfast waffles were good, coffee was not strong and cereal options were cheerios and Raisin Bran. I tried contacting hotels.com and they couldn’t do anything except contact the hotel, and they didn’t say anything to me to fix the problem.

Stay away from this property, I am never going back. The a/c wasn’t working, the iron in my room didn’t work. I went down to do a key and the person they had at the front desk after requesting a new key directly infront of me had me waiting because she was doing whatever on Facebook I had to call out to her (very unprofessional). The hot tub does not work, one of the vending machine don’t work.

Not great.
The front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating but the hotel is in terrible condition. Door scanners are cracked and broken, garbage litters the floors and elevator, and things are generally dirty and falling apart. My room had an overpowering Smell of mold and mildew and the shower was permanently stained and would not drain. The AC was not working properly and so the room was hot and humid.

Asked for late checkout, was assured I’d have one but right at 11:05 I was getting a call about check out and then when I was in the shower, the maid showed up thinking we checked out already. Kinda hard to understand them. I called a week or so before the stay to ask questions, they only awnserd one question before hanging up. Beds were pretty hard, very springy and I noticed certain spots in the bathroom that definitely needed some touch up attention
