Embassy Suites is conveniently located two blocks off the river. Great location. Staff was good. The property is tired and poorly maintained. Lights in elevators don’t work. Carpets are sad. Rooms are typical ES. Clean with views of the city and lake. My big issue was the state of my bathroom. Mildew abounded, the bottom of the bathroom door has significant water damage. The bathtub had bad patching. See photos below. Breakfast is inedible if you have a palate. Business center printer was broken. It shows a general lack of care and maintenance. I won’t stay here again.

This property Needs deep cleaning and serious updates. We had booked 2 rooms. For $380/ night, we got dirty rooms, moldy bathrooms, holes in the sheets, and many other amenities. They gave us a minimal discount because of the above issues, but still not worth it.

The hotel was extremely convenient for my visit, almost everything was in walking distance and when I needed to use a cab they were readily available. My room was neat and clean although it did show some wear. The hotel amenities were above average and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast offerings were the same everyday but a large enough selection that it wasn't repetitive. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel. They allowed us to check in early and waived the fee. Breakfast had a lot of different options but it gets busy around 8am. There is also a happy hour option from 530-7 on weekdays with snacks and two free drinks. Parking is $55 night in a garage which requires you to take 2 elevators to get to the main lobby and then another elevator to get to your room. Check in/check out seemed a bit long probably because the hotel is very busy. Overall we really loved our stay here.

There was an unknown substance that soaked one of our beds upon arrival. I think it was urine. We never got a satisfactory report on what it was. They said it was a leak. But it was brown!
