Hotel was in a great location, close proximity to everything. Staff was awesome with the exception of one person at the front desk that was very rude to my sister. Hotel valet was quick with retrieving the truck for us. Only downside is hotel rooms are much smaller than expected.

Good location. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Shower pressure was spotty, you can definitely tell when someone else turned on the shower in another room. Room was a bit small, but overall a nice stay.

Was extremely stressful!!…was charged $22 A DAY for so called amenities!! Don’t know what they were tho! No breakfast no in room coffee! No daily housekeeping!! Asked to have room cleaned on the 2nd day here and never happened!! On the final evening here they DROPPED OFF clean sheets for us to make our own bed!!…When the shower ran the water never drained!!…Arrived only to find there was no parking available at the hotel unless you paid $75 A DAy for there valet.. not a good place to stay! Extremely small rooms!! …I will say that the man who checked us in was very friendly!!

I had a terrible experience. From the moment I checked in, where the clerk told me I had to pay an additional amount besides the TOTAL which ended up not being real, he mistook those charges and only created a very confusing and negative experience at the arrival and didn't even have the decency to apologize. Then when I got to my room it was extremely small, it didn't even have a refrigerator nor a desk and although it was clean the room wasn't in very good conditions . I called the lobby and they said that if I wanted a mini fridge I would have to pay an additional 25 dollars per night ! Unbelievable! I also asked that my room.be cleaned daily, it was only done once. I travel often to Chicago , and in the last 2 years this is the worst hotel I have stayed at , it is the most expensive room I have paid for and not only has it been the smallest room but also the most worn out. I recommend the cambria or the meridian essex , you'll pay less or the same with an excellent service and great rooms, it's a shame they didn't have vacancy! I will never ever stay at this hotel again, I don't recommend it at all, the only thing good is the location!

Fun little Quirky Hotel in Chicago's River North
Perfect little quirky hotel that is close by to everything - walking distance!! Around the corner from my daughter!!

This hotel was mediocre at best. They tried to charge us $72 a day for parking one car until one employee whispered Toni’s on the side that we could go down the street and find $10 a day parking which we did. Not right to not disclose this upfront in order to monetize a big profit. Second, We were left 2 bottles of water at $5 per bottle. Why not leave water as a courtesy? Small price to pay to leave a nice impression that negates these reviews. The nice hotels do who are customer centric leave complimentary water when we first arrive. Finally, I left my pillow and they found it later. I told Them to pitch the pillow but if they could please send the pillowcase in an envelope, that would be appreciated. But they refused saying they have to charge us to mail a pillowcase.

Don’t stay here.
Spider webs in all of the lights. One towel in the room. No hand towels. No one answered the phone to the lobby reception when calling for 10 minutes. Went downstairs and lobby was left unattended. One elevator was broken and had to take the stairs at busy times from the 6th floor to the bottom. Awful experience. The Godfrey is next door and a much better option.

Really nice stay
The hotel itself was very quiet. No people running the halls or chattering. 4 nights of uninterrupted sleep. Great front desk help. Ill stay there again next time we're in Chicago. Very eco friendly.
