This stay was nice. Came here for a staycation, LOVE the huge soaking tub. Staff is very friendly and the area is great! My only critique is they didnt bring towels up to the rooms (you have to go down and get them yourself), and there was no robe in the room. The tv in the bathroom mirror doesn’t work either which was a bummer but not a deal breaker. If they fixed those things I’d come here all the time.

Excellent location and comfortable rooms.
Amazing location right in the heart of River North Chicago. Close to a lot of good restaurants and shopping areas. The room was excellent. We had the suite, it had 3 separate areas and was very comfortable.

High end for a not so high price
I was blown away at the size and layout of the room. Everything felt high end yet very affordable. I could have stayed a week and felt very comfortable. The only downfall is there was no early check in. I'll definitely stay there again.

Check in time at 4pm and check out is 11. I find that weird but you wouldn't want to stay here long anyway, the furnitures are all scratched, AC not working (we had to open the window to cool down the room), the bed is not comfortable and only one ice machine that we can find. I wouldnt stay here again.

I stayed at The Ivy last weekend and it’s an absolutely beautiful hotel! The lobby was nicely decorated, the room looked exactly like the pictures, and the staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful. Overall I give my experience a 9/10! I give it a 9 for two reasons: 1. There are no ice machines on the room floors and you must get your ice from the front desk. The halls are small but the rooms are big so that wasn’t a major problem for me but that wasn’t mentioned in any review I read and I think it’s important to bring up. 2. I called to ask for extra blankets and was told I’d have to go downstairs to grab those too. I thought that was odd as this is considered a luxury hotel and other hotels I’ve stayed in have either had extra blankets in the closet or are willing to bring them to the room. Finally, another thing that’s important to note is that there is no microwave in the room.
