Terrible experience from check-in to check-out. When I checked in I was told I needed to pay the pet deposit with cash!! Why?? I paid for the room with a bank debit but was not allowed to pay for the pet deposit with the same card! WHY?? It was blizzard conditions at check-in but they forced me to drive to another building to access an ATM for the pet fee!! (The ATM charged $4.95 for the transaction). I went back to the check-in desk. A different person was at the desk and he told me the pet rent was $60 - not $50. I told him that wasn't what the first clerk told me. He said he would check his "notes". He did so, and approved the $50 rent like he was doing me a favor. Also, the room I was first assigned to in the home building was occupied, so I was forced to move my bags to another building (did I mention this was in blizzard conditions???). At the entrance of the different building was a trash can with multiple bags of trash lying around it. When I got to the different room I found a dirty shirt in a drawer in the chest, no coffee maker (there were two coffee packets though), no eating utensils, no glasses, not much of anything in the wonderfully appointed, filthy kitchen. I found no hot water at the kitchen sink, cold water for my shower, and three feet away at the bathroom sink the water was hot? Why were there different sources of hot water for these three faucets?? I have never been so glad to check out of a hotel in my life. I will never stay at this brand again.
