The hotel's breakfast was very nice, and the staff was friendly. The TV had lots of premium channels. The room had a nice couch, but the bed showed some signs of wear and tear. We were not pleased since we accidentally left an expensive item behind, which we quickly reported. We were told that they would search the room but the front desk clerk came back to the phone 2 minutes later saying that they did not find anything.

Excellent except very slow service in restaurant.
Hotel, facilities, and room were all excellent. The only downside was the restaurant. While there were only a few customers, and THREE servers/cashiers working, the service was painfully slow. The food and drinks were very good, though a little pricey.

Not a Chain Hotel and it was Great!
We recently stayed at the Academy Hotel and had a wonderful stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, making for a great nights rest. Though the hotel is located a bit north of activities planned, it wasn’t a deal breaker as the area itself had plenty plenty to offer. We stopped by for ice cream when retuning to our room and it was great. The staff is awesome.

The room was like a mini suite with a couch and ample lighting so you could sit and read. The lobby had a beautiful fireplace and water fall with seating so you could relax outside your room or get into the indoor pool. There is an actual restaurant inside the hotel and the breakfast had an omelet chef in addition to the full breakfast bar. Close to I-25 but very quiet and right across street to mall and other shops.

It was not good. The commode had not been flushed, when the phone wouldn’t work they came to replace and pulled out the bed and there was so much dust and filth under the bed it was disgusting. The breakfast was very good and the service at breakfast was incredible. We probably won’t stay there again.
