Hidden Gem great value
This is a great value option over the Easter weekend in Merimbula. Although its not connected to the main park, it is just a short walk accross the road to the holiday park. Also a short walk to the Main Beach, the Lake area (for fishing) or the local shops - just be aware there is no lift and a set of stairs if you have a few bags to lug!

Lovely water park for the kids - unfortunately we had to stay in upper level accomodation with a baby so hauling prams etc up stairs. The room isn’t modern but clean and fine. We had no working hot water which made it extremely tricky with a baby - told reception and they don’t seem to care or make amends at all (short haired blonde woman on reception).

I stayed in a motel room, it had an adjoining room which you could lock from your side , the people in the other room tried to enter 3 times throughout the night, they then at 2am next door decided to have loud sex,I didn’t have much sleep that night. Instead of ringing the after hours number I decided to wait til 7am and told him what happened, I was assured that the couple would be moved , I rang that afternoon and was told that they had checked out, that night around 10.30 my door was tried again by the people in the adjoining room , I eventually fell asleep after being scared for the second night running, never again , I’ll ask if it is an adjoining room before I get another motel room. The rest of the holiday park looked gorgeous, motel room needs updating.
