Excellent service,very nice hotel, good food, nice swimming pool. Two things. The swimming wasa little bit cloudy and the towels at the room and the swimming pool used. For such a nice hotel, this details matter. Thank you

Ilo Rojo is on hill, a steep hill. And at first it seems daunting, but it is worth the climb. Our room had a generous balcony/terrace that looked over the city and beyond. The staff here are extremely efficient, helpful and friendly (a special shout-out to Lupita, Martin and Angel). There is a bus stop almost outside the entrance, which runs every 5 minutes or so it seems and for a whopping 8 pesos you don't have to walk the 20 minutes to downtown (or more importantly back up.) The restaurant is small with a simple menu, but no matter, there is an abundance of fantastic restaurants in the town. There is a lot to see and do in San Miguel de Allende, and Ilo Rojo is great spring board to start them We'll be back

Location was great. Near Jardín and Parque Juarez

There were a few issues but maintenance was at my door within minutes to fix

Friendly and informative staff, beautiful architecture and rooms, delicious variety of food at each restaurant in the hotel, walkable to city center and plenty of affordable ride share and taxi options available too. Bruno was exceptionally kind and helpful to us.
