Renter Beware: 521 Passage Point
The basics are as advertised. However, the service we received from the property manager, VACASA, was awful. On arrival, the kitchen was flooded. We figured out it was a dishwasher leak. Though we booked a stay for 2 adults and 2 children, housekeeping only left us 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels for 4 people. We had no clean towels after soaking up the wet floor.We reported the leak, and were directed to fetch clean towels from a closet across town. There was, apparently, nobody available to bring us fresh towels after cleaning up a flood that was due to no fault of our own.VACASA told us no one could come to check the dishwasher until the following day. A technician arrived around 4 pm the next day and confirmed the dishwasher was broken. He vowed to return that night, but never did.On our 3rd night, VACASA told us the unit required a new dishwasher, but it would not arrive during our stay because the replacement required owner approval.The dishwasher continued to leak and we had to use our towels to clean it up. We repeatedly asked VACASA to have fresh towels delivered, and we were told our request was relayed to the “local team,” but they never came.VACASA offered a credit, but it was an amount less than the service fee we paid.I shudder to think how ownership would react knowing the poor service VACASA is providing! Also, the white shower curtain is bordering on orange and the A/C event in the bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 30 years -- yuck!
