So thankful for the experience
Our host and hostess treated us like family. The setting for the home we stayed in is exceptional! The house was clean and inviting. We have already recommended it to friends, and we look forward to returning.

It was a gorgeous setting away from the hustle and bustle. We were there to visit U of I. Great location, on farm land, away from it all.

Wonderful Farm Family & Property
Tawny is a wonderful host and you feel part of the beautiful Nelson Family the moment you arrive. We are city folk and loved the natural beauty of their endless property. We had a once in a lifetime experience riding in Tawny's husbands combine during harvest. We will be back when we pass this way.

What a FANTASTIC experience
If you want a place to get away from it ALL this is the place. Tawny is a FANTASTIC host. Ours was a family vacation with 6 adults. We had 3 of us on motorcycles and 2 vehicles that had height restrictions. If you ride motorcycles come in on Spence Road . Don't follow Google maps. You'll be fine on Spence road. Tawny and Jeff's place is absolutely fabulous out in the country. We enjoyed chilling out on the front deck. Watching the full moon rise and spending time together. If solitude is what you are looking for this home will not disappoint.

Great Place to Stay!
My husband and I love to stay in VRBO properties when we travel to visit our daughter at University of Idaho. The Nelsons' home was very easy to get to and the accommodations were quite comfortable. The rooms are in the main house upstairs, but we were the only ones who used that space. We were warmly welcomed and had a lovely visit with our hosts the first morning we were there. We would happily stay here again.

Get away from it all
We had never stayed in a VRBO where you share the house with the owner. Tawny is a great host! If you are looking for a stay that is away from town, this is it. Set on a farm, you can see for miles. The hosts allowed me to check out their harvesting up close! Beautiful location. We will return.

Again Tawny and Jeff made us feel as we were family! Excellent quiet location with an awesome Breakfast. Great people and an experience everyone should partake in to see what it should be like for a VRBO experience. It was a pleasure meeting some more Family Member Jordan and Jennifer and Grandkids.

Beautiful farm in the rolling hills of the Palouse.
It was a little further out of Moscow than we would have liked, but it was quiet & peaceful, with beautiful views of the rolling hills of wheat, etc. Tawny & her husband were friendly & the breakfasts were great! Some upgrading of the flooring upstairs needs done, which is on their plans for this fall. The guest bedrooms are all up stairs. So that wouldn’t work for handicapped or the elderly. That should be mentioned in the ad & also dogs are allowed, which can be a good thing for those who want to take their pets, but not so good for those who may have allergies or fear of animals. We were fine with it, but not everyone would be.

Loved being out in farm country and learning about the owners' experiences and interests. Very friendly people. Loved seeing the whole night sky with no ambient light interference while hearing coyotes in the distance. Loved the morning and evening light on the golden fields.

Your home away from home!
I can speak highly enough of Tawny, the owner. I was moving my daughter into WSU for her freshman year. On the way to the house, our car broke down. We got a cab to the house. Next day, Tawny insisted on taking us to the car rental place in Pullman. When Tawny welcomes you into her home - you are instantly family!

An enjoyable retreat!
This is my second visit to Troy area and I'm glad we were able to return to Tawny's place. It was enjoyable to have breakfast made for us (my kids loved Tawny's waffles and pancakes... and the bacon...🥰) the property is beautiful and Tawny's entire family are very sweet and wonderful people. It was nice learning so much about farming and being able to get up close looks at the haying process. I will forever be praying for dry summers and wet winters. Thank you for helping us feel so welcomed!
