Book Cross Inn hotels

This was our second stay and reminded us why we loved it the first time. The house is comfortable, the room spacious and the decor tasteful. We slept well on a comfortable bed and all the usuals in terms of tea and coffee were there along with a nice sized fridge if you wanted to put the champagne on ice. Newcastle Emlyn is a lovely little town. The real key to why this is such a great place to stay are the wonderful hosts. Tony and Chris can’t do enough for you and offer a great welcome. This time we stayed in the middle of a red warning storm and our hosts ensured we could stay over until it was safe to leave. This is definitely one of the best places we have stayed and highly recommended.

Superb visit as location is very close to beach and also has a very good restaurant so no need to travel out in evening for somewhere to eat.

Stayed here a few times in different rooms. This one was different again. Set up in a type of annex little cottage external at the side of the hotel. Didn’t know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Lovey warm and spacious double room and on suite. Like a little one bed cottage. Road noise wasn’t too bad seeming the lane was close to the main road. Warm and secure all amenities there. Nice little hotel and always happy here. Breakfast had changed to between 0730-0830. Very short time frame. So didn’t partake in the breakfast included. Which is usually very very good.

Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!
