Holidays in Crosswell

When chucking a sickie becomes way too simple, it's time to abandon the nine-to-five and say hello to Crosswell!

If you travel 160 kilometres of Crosswell, you'll find yourself in the major city of Bristol.

Does a coastline stroll tempt you? Plan an outing to Swansea Beach or Marloes Sands.

There are some nice natural attractions in the vicinity of Crosswell. Why not venture 50 kilometres to Skomer? Alternatively, you can admire some of Mother Nature's finest work at the Dale Fort, 45 kilometres away.

Leave your phone at the hotel and admire the calming landscapes of the Bro Meigan Gardens and the Moorland Cottage Plants.

After even more attractions? Head to Crymych, 1 kilometre east of Crosswell, for Newport Memorial Hall and Welsh Wildlife Centre. Alternatively, Newport is 8 kilometres to the west, and it's here you'll find the Last Invasion Gallery and Kayak-King.

Going to Cardigan? This destination is just 11 kilometres to the northeast. If you're staying here a while, grab a map and circle Cardigan Castle, St Dogmaels Abbey and the Cardigan Guildhall. Also consider stopping in at the Small World Theatre and The Coach House Visitor Centre.

There's no better way to understand a destination than to literally take a bite out of it! You're invited to discover the culture, history and personality of Pembrokeshire by sampling some of its best food and drink.

Of course, you can't leave Crosswell without digging into cawl or lobscouse (lamb broth) or Welsh rarebit (melted cheese dish). Popular with the locals and considered specialty dishes, they are a must-try experience for any food-loving traveller.

It probably won't take much to persuade you to taste ice cream, a sweet treat that'll make you want to start a new life here.

It can be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to good beers, but one brew worth tasting is Wrexham lager. Grab a pint and drink up!

Making it to your plane on time can sometimes be challenging. However, you should be right if you're prepared. The closest terminal, Cardiff International Airport (CWL), is 120 kilometres to the southeast.
