Great hotel, noisy location
We have stayed here a few times over the years and it's always been a good Hotel. Not the quietest hotel but that has more to do with it's central location rather than any failing by the hotel.

The hotel uses the Lanes car park which is very expensive even with the discount from the hotel The carpet was heavily stained and bad odour. The shower didn’t have a attachment if you didn’t want to wash your hair

Nice enough but overpriced
Nice enough hotel but overpriced for what it was. I’d chosen it for the facilities - steam room, sauna and spa, which I was pretty disappointed in. The steam room was out of order the entire trip, the sauna was small and crowded, lots of locals who all knew each other and chatted loudly the whole time so not very restful! There was no spa menu or booking info available online but I hoped to book on arrival. It turns out the “spa” is mainly just a nail salon and there were no appointments available the entire weekend. It would be helpful if the facility information was more accurately advertised and there were booking options available in advance. The room was nice and big but quite expensive. Breakfast was decent but again quite expensive. Nice staff though!

Smell mould, it is forbidden to open windows, the toilet seat had period blood from the previous client, no parking near (we park in a private garage and paid 60£ for w nights with the hotel discount), bathroom old, mould, smelling bad with the toilet door with the wooden ripped at the bottom, sauna was not working properly. Good things: nice place to walk, beach front, amazing breakfast, fast lifts, big bedroom, netflix worked linked to my phone, swimming pool didn't have almost nobody.

2nd time staying and would go back. Put the front is the beach and pier etc, out the back is the lanes. Nice little pool, bettter than average breakfast Buffett. All staff great. Food and drinks in hotel pricey but loads more of options close. Parking very convenient but expensive however they do discount it for guests.
