We stayed 3 nights-2 adults/2 children.
First impressions were good. Checkin was easy.
We stayed in- Forager 6-super cute, lovely decor & furniture.
Even with the car parked as close as possibly to the cabin, we had to traipse across the wet/mud ground to get inside. Perhaps some pavers would be beneficial here. Fine in dry weather, but definitely not ideal in wet weather.
We quickly realised wifi was next to none which was disappointing. Very limited phone service too.
(Not sure if this was just in our cabin, as it doesn’t seem others have mentioned it in their reviews?)
Whilst we didn’t want to spend our entire stay on electronic devices, it would still be good to have good wifi when needed.
Beds were super comfortable. One thing I’d suggest is providing lower profile pillows as they were all the same & all very high which we all struggled with.
Shower was excellent! Great pressure & plenty of hot water.
Kitchen was cosy, but fine for a few days.
4 of everything (plates, bowels, glasses etc) which was fine for us, but not sure if you’re family were more than 4? Perhaps more are provided.
The induction cooktop is a plug in. Bottom draw. Works well, but only one burner, so cooking with multiple pots is a little juggle- but we made it work.
FYI- No oven in the cabins.
Coffee machine was good.
We ran out of fire wood by night 2.
Grounds are great. Tennis equip is provided.
Perhaps having a small selection of cards/board games would be good too.
