Maldron is one of 2 within walking distance of the airport. I find it friendly, food is good…there’s a garage over the road for snacks

This property needs to be updated. The hallways and rooms are very run down. The layout of the buildings is confusing and elevator access is difficult because it is hard to locate.

The only two issues I had were cleaners left window to my room opened so there was a large spider and three big flying bugs in it plus for safety reasons and being on street level they should have it locked. Other was it took me forever to order at the bar and once I got my order it had way too many onions and peppers in it. But to be that close to airport with a shuttle it was nice. The breakfast was nice and the staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

Location excellent for early flights or late arrival. Rooms small but clean and quiet, fine for us. Staff made the trip for us, Robert, Jen, and GM Denise were especially helpful with luggage storage, directions to town center, and printing Ryanair (they don't accept mobile tickets?) tickets. Highly recommend Dublin Maldron Hotel.

Clean and convenient hotel VERY close to the airport. Facility is showing its age both on the interior and exterior. Room was clean and functionable and provided a comfortable night's sleep. Staff were friendly and the 5 minute shuttle ride to the airport convenient. Had dinner as well and the service was a bit inattentive but the food was rather good. If you're looking for an easy and cost effective place to stay before flying out, this meets the mark.

Bathroom had significant mold on ceiling and grout, furniture was chipped, peeling, and stained, tile was broken in several places, halls and the room smelled funky. Dings and gouges in walls were everywhere. Door lock was a chain and not a proper latching bolt. There was no art at all in the room—it was like a prison cell. Bathroom had no ventilation fan, so the shower moisture just vented out to the bedroom. We asked to change rooms because the first one was run down; the description above is of the second “better” room. We paid premium price of 343 euros for a room in what was described as an “upscale” hotel and left with a bad cough from breathing moldy air all night. We splurged for our last night in Ireland in a nice hotel, and truly, I have never been more disappointed. The good parts: staff was friendly and the shuttle was easy to the airport.

Based on my own visit, this place was a massive disappointment. It is really gross when a hotel charges way more for a room then what you get. Honestly this is barely a two star, prepared for disappointment. I will not be going back.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel and fir the price it is not worth it…cheap matress…could hear tv blaring from adjoining room…right now i am in a four star hotel in malaga which was far cheaper and far superior. Restaurant waiters in Maldron were outstanding…made my stay better
