We had a good experience overall . The facilities are basic the reception staff is amazing . The cleanliness is average , I don’t know what happened 1 day but the cleaner didn’t clean the room properly . We left in the morning and When we came back in the evening the toilet stinks wee and poo. The floor was wiped only with tissues some pieces were left on the floor . I spoken to the receptionist she came checked and the next day our room was spotless

Fantastic accomodation -well situated , very clean , spacious , easy to walk everywhere. I had room with ocean views with large opening sliding doors allowing me to sit out on my verandah for breakfast and dinner/ glass of wine at night. It also meant I could have doors open for fresh air or close for the very effective air conditioning. Staff were great .

Wonderful hotel with great staff
We enjoy our stay very much, excellent staffs , kind , accommodating and hotel location is great with parking . Wish we had book more days here :) We accidentally left clothes in our room staff were so nice , before we called they already tried to reach out and collected for us . A very comfortable place to stay right on the wate
Our first choice for accommodation in Cairns. Ideal location on the esplanade but away from the noise. We book a room that faces the ocean to enjoy the view. Rooms are large and comfortable. A kettle, some dishes and cutlery is provided. Tea, coffee and cookies too. There is a small fridge and a sink as well. You can’t cook a meal but you can certainly enjoy at takeout meal on a plate with a real fork. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Our stay would have been perfect if it wasn’t for the young lady who checked us out our last day. She needs some friendly customer relations training for sure. All the other staff we interacted with was excellent. Saying goodbye to Cairns was difficult & last contact with a person of her sorts was a bummer to top it off.

Staff is really helpful, 24/7. The facilities are safe and right off the esplanade. I only needed a night to rest over on my travels. This place is awesome for short out long stays.

Would remove Sharon or however you spell her name from the front desk. Very condescending and sarcastic and made faces and rolled eyes and even heard her talking negatively about guests.
