Grounds are nice but probably due for an update - still the same from 15 years ago. Rooms are basic but has the essentials, again probably due for an upgrade. Phone Reception/wifi wasn’t the best but not the end of the world. Good location and only 10 minute drive to the esplanade. Good if you’re on a budget. Staff were friendly.

The place is family orientated don't choose for a quiet getaway or a business stay, it's very noisy the rooms walls are paper thin, you can hear people sneeze in the adjacent room. I had food at their pool cafe on arrival and it was terrible so the rest of the stay I decided to not eat in their restaurants and dine elsewhere in Cairns.

Beautiful property with bar & restaurant. Great if you have a car or are happy to stay put. Immediate surrounding area did not have much to offer. Cairns generally is great though.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The on site Flamingo cafe is a great place for food and drinks. Plenty of pools to choose from. We were very happy with our “superior” room. A little out of town. But a short walk to the bus stop, or botanical gardens. Again, great staff.

Staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. While the rooms are basic they are perfect dor a budget friendly family holiday. The pools are second to none and kept our kids entertained for hours.

Stayed for four nights while touring Australia. Hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but has a bus stop not far away for getting around. The grounds are well cared for. My room was decent, however there were some stains on the carpets. Otherwise, it was clean and fit the purpose for my stay. Restaurant and bar staff are great. Meals and drinks are good, but close early in the evening. Overall, a decent place to spend a few nights while visiting.

It was good, 3 pools none were heated which was disappointing for the time of August. A few shady characters around but staff were onto that and had them move on. Beds were made each day but not changed, so hoping into sandy beds wasn’t great. Fridge/freezer was broken and partially froze fresh fruit/veg we’d bought. Ice creams didn’t completely freeze and were a mess so had a loss in groceries. NO bbq’s on the premises!! Out of town, need a hire car or rely on taxis/Ubers.
