Holidays in East End

Bring your love of adventure along with that much-used suitcase. It's time to find out what East End is all about! A neighbourhood in Boise, it's an excellent place to experience a different side of the Idaho capital. If you love meeting the locals while travelling, Boise is packed with potential new BFFs. Around 150,000 people call this city home. East End is 3 kilometres east of the centre of the city. If you're arriving from Boise Airport, hail a taxi and make your way 6 kilometres to the northeast.

This city is brimming with things to see and do, and you'll uncover many of them near East End. It's difficult to pick the best attractions, but the Boise State University and Idaho State Capitol Building are a couple you shouldn't miss out on. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to keep going to the Hillcrest Country Club and Boise Towne Square Mall. While you're here, think about visiting a few other neighbourhoods to experience more of what Boise has to offer. Warm Springs and Vernon are great suggestions that are close by.

The Crane Creek Country Club, the Payette Brewing Company, the Boise Brewing and the Woodland Empire Ale Craft are perfect for those without any kids in tow.

Hoping to experience the local culture? Try the Esther Simplot Performing Arts Academy, the Boise Art Glass and the Ballet Idaho.

From hands-on activities to imagination‐sparking objects and artefacts, museums have something to keep everyone occupied. If you find yourself stuck with a rainy day, why not make your way over to the Discovery Center of Idaho, the Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame and the Museum of Mining & Geology?

One of the yardsticks of an excellent performance tends to be how powerful the applause is when it's finished. Watch the audience rise to their feet at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival Amphitheater and Reserve, the Stage Coach Theatre, the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts and the Boise Contemporary Theater.

Kids can't spend all day cooped up in a hotel. Give them what they want and go to one or two of the area's fun-filled attractions. You can choose from Barber Park, Natatorium Pool & Hydrotube and Rhodes Skate Park.

The Morrison-Knudsen Nature Center, Ridge to River Trail System, Hulls Gulch Nature Trail and Boise River & Greenbelt are some of the best places for nature lovers to enjoy the outdoors.

Put on some comfortable shoes and stroll through the nearby ecological reserves, such as the Idaho Botanical Garden, Kathryn Albertson Park and Fort Boise-Military Reserve Park.

Whether you're hoping to kick off your shoes and sit under a tree or hang out with some friends, the nearby urban parks are wonderful places to be. Choose from either Julia Davis Park, Camel's Back Park, Ann Morrison Park and Veterans Memorial Park.

Old Idaho Penitentiary, the Idaho Historical Museum, Assay Office and the Basque Museum and Cultural Center have so many stories to tell. History geek or not, you'll definitely learn something at these age-old sites.

If you're intrigued by religious sites, you ought to visit the Ahavath Beth Israel Synagogue, First United Presbyterian Church, St. Michael's Episcopal Cathedral and St. John's Cathedral.

Get ready to wear your blue and orange and cheer as passionately as you can. The home of the Boise State Broncos football, Albertsons Stadium is the ideal place to get your fix of college football entertainment.

Nice
"The home has amazing views. Tight roads to get there. A mixture of fine antiques and dollar store items. The queen bed in 2nd bed was soft and definitely well used. Lighting throughout was minimal . Tenants food smells came through to the upper floor and tenant was very noisy in the late evening"
