Very good

Only one of three elevators were operating * only downfall and when arriving to vehicle after my stay there was cement crumbs on the hood from the parking garage
The hotel is very dated! Only 1 out of 3 elevators in working order. The bed was sunken in on 1 side the pillows were terrible and blankets less than ok. The staff was nice. You can tell that this hotel was once really lovely.

Property is dated and a little run down. Could use some updates. Parkade was quite low so our SUV barely fit. Beds were quite small but we’re fine for single person. Location was great as we were headed to the Winspear which was in walking distance . Staff was very nice and familiar with the area. Slept well as the in room furnace was loud but acted like a sound machine at night, lol.

The service at the hotel is good, the concierge lounge and laronde restaurant are great. The overall stay at the hotel was average with a few to many issues, 1 of 3 elevators working which means long waits and overcrowded elevator. Hot water was very limited, rooms are noisy you hear everything and heat system sounds like a jet. I’m not a fussy person but overall just average which is not what we were expecting when we booked. Website leads you to believe it’s a much nicer place
This property doesnt do daily room cleaning and you can certainly tell by the cleanliness/wear and tear of the rooms. While the towels and bedding were all clean, the walls and windows have were dirty. We had an executive suite which was average at best, but I guess that's why the price was so lower than most dt hotels.
We definitely enjoyed the executuve suite for breakfast and happy hour, which is probrably the only reason we'd stay here again.

There was only 1 elevator working and it made for terribly long wait times, causing us to be almost late for our supper reservation on the top floor.
There was No fan working in our bathroom which made it very musty and moldy!

The elevators are an issue. Only having one elevator working during check-in is very inconvenient.
Nice location. Beautiful view of river. Walked to the Rogers place. Went for breakfast, pouched eggs were perfect.

Good value for money and location
Very helpful staff--really appreciated how quickly our coffee machine was replaced and how kind the team member was who helped. This is an older hotel--and it shows in good and bad ways; lovely brass accents in the elevator, grand hotel lobby and lovely restaurants but older bathroom fixtures and carpet. It was value for money on the room but the extra valet parking (gated ramp to the hotel parking wasn't working) was a bit high in my opinion.
Loved the river view!
Would have loved to try out the restaurant and lounge but the hours were limited and didn't work for us as we were in town for Cheer.
