Weekend in Melrose!

The desk worker (I assumed also the owner) was friendly and helpful. He showed general interest in what brought us to stay in Melrose. The staffed seemed happy and seemed to work hard! The room had updated carpeting and furniture and looked like they were trying to improve their hotel.

Mom's perfect getaway weekend!

What a quiet little place for us moms to sneak away from our families for a weekend. The place was tucked into the property, away from the road and even further from town. The place was well furnished and a perfect place to stay in and cozy up, since there is not much to do around the location. Bring all the things you need to cook and make sure your pizza isn't too big for the small oven! You can tell that they put time, energy, and love into the property with all the small intricate details. It was such a perfect weekend to relax, do face masks, do crafts with your friend and enjoy the hot tub that's on site! We decided that this would not be the place for our small children as the ladder going up to the loft is quite steep and the place is small so it is not conducive to kids under 10, in our opinion. Maybe in the spring summer and fall when you can get outdoors and enjoy the zip line, kids would like the property more. But in the winter months when it's too cold to get outside, we could see our kids getting stir crazy! We would definitely be back again for another adult getaway! And the owners are so sweet!!

This property was amazing. It was well-stocked with supplies. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. My granddaughters loved the loft area. The cabin is very spacious and tastefully decorated. We would definitely return to his location.

Great place to stay before our flight

Chris is a great host. She was so friendly and helpful. Her store next door has so many features too. It was neat to get the rundown on the place. My family stayed at the guesthouse before an early flight out of St. Cloud. It offered enough space and was perfect for the seven of us. It is also a unique property and was a rustic place. Thank you Chris!
