If you after a new Marriott experience this hotel isn't for you. It is however FANTASTIC!
It's a little dated/rustic - for us Europeans think French Ski Lodge. Staff were super friendly. Our room was spotless. We booked a bigger room which had a, King Bed,, kitchenette with microwave and hotplate, spa tub, gas log-effect fire, sofa and arm chair. On the patio was a gas BBQ (also spotless) and a gas fire-pit table with views of the mountain tops. We loved how quiet it was and the ability to ave a drink by the fire-pit then cook and evening meal (Safeway in town). Hotel now shares facilities with Motel next door, free Continental breakfast was good but busy. Staff however almost literally ran around to keep everything topped up. Whilst not the newest property by far this was the favourite hotel of our vacation and is off course on the doorstep of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Oh and they provide free popcorn and SMORES in the evenings.
