It's a fantastic getaway, especially for kids. They have a wide range of activities to keep them entertained.

As far as activities I give this property at 5/5stars but for cleanliness they can improve greatly. Our room was dusty & the shower curtain had yellow & black stains. I wasn’t comfortable staying the room it just felt dirty. However they have a lot of activities to keep the guest busy so that was a plus.

The photos and reviews for this property were good so we were extremely disappointed when we walked into the building (Alpen) we were assigned to. It was filthy. Trash overflowing in the entrance area, floors were awful dirty and kids were literally running up and down the hallways screaming, sliding down the railing from upstairs-and it smelled. It didn't get any better when we opened our door to our room. Smelled worse, the bathroom was dirty, the carpet didn't appear to have been vacuumed very well at all. The rooms are not sound proof and there were kids screaming and playing kickball in the hall at all hours. The pool was a little dirty as well. We never saw any workers. After two days we complained about the lobby trash that was still there on our check in day. Unfortunately the families who were here did not discipline or even watch their kids. I'm all about family and kids playing -that's why we chose this place but we won't go back.

Rustic Location with some convenience
The YMCA Rockies Estes Park was a very nice place to stay and convenient to the Rockies NP and Estes Park. Our room was very basic and did not have a TV, which was fine with us because it was clean and fit our basic needs. We had a bonus because in the morning we were able to see the Elk walking through the grounds

This was a lower end room in the YMCA complex. I would have liked a nicer room. The price was good but still would have liked to have a better choice. There was no one else in the entire building which was nice

The property it is at a convenient location to go to Rocky Mountain and it was clean but the property is old and do not have TV and the A/C was broken, I sleep with a fan and the temperature was very nice and that help. I recommend to chose another place to stay better
