I tried to check in on the date i sellected however, the hotel had my date of stay wrong, wether itbwas expiedia or the hotel. So, i had to pay $340.00 for a room i never stayed in. The hotel host had no simply for mty situation and woukd not help me. I came to your hotel because i needed to get away for a day or so. My wife of 59 years just died of brain cancer..she was my life. Im also a 78 year old disabled wounded warrior from the war highly decorated. I wanted to stay at Eugene's best however, i was wrong. There was no compasion for me there, no carring. Now im out 340.00 and i had to drive 200 miles back to where i started. I live in Roseburg Oregon but drove from Medford where i was staying. I just wanted a nice place to stay for a couple of days and enjoy some good food in a quiet environment. Im very disapointed in your staff there they could have helped me but didnt and were not concerned at all. Im hoping i will get a responce from you. If not i will just take it as a loss. Great upscale hotel with boutique shopping and restaurants right there. Staff and breakfast were great and the lobby seating areas, outdoor rooftop patio and pool are nice amenities.
