Lovely stay in stunning medieval village which is still vibrant today. Within easy reach of plenty of other villages, towns, lakes, rivers, castles, etc. A great spot from which to explore, with the bouse having all we needed. house

The rental is a Chateau with an amazing pool and grounds. The pictures do not do it justice. The owner and the management service were easy to communicate and quick to respond to issues at the property. We stayed for one month and did day trips around the area. It is an extremely old building. The kitchen is large and well equipped for making meals and serving large groups of friends and family.

The house was idealy situated for visiting many places of interest,Bordeaux,Bergerac and many chateau in the area. We were very disapointed with the standard of the property due to several issues.The house is very cold and damp and in some rooms has effected the wooden flooring,leaving a white deposit.Even in the kitchen, which has tiled flooring,surface water could be seen under our dogs bedding.The on-suite shower room wasn't very clean and had black mould around the shower tray and sink,which we had to clean ouselves.Although we had the use of an above ground swimming pool in the garden,it quickly became unusable as the grass,which was mostly weeds,became too long and unpleasant to wade through to get to the pool. Although I expect not everything to be perfect with an older property,I do feel the owners could pay more attention to these basic details.We were there for a month so these these things had considerable impact on our stay.We felt the owners put very little into running there gite and do the bare minimum.
