If physically you're here but in mind you're living it up in Glencar, it's time to take that holiday. Glencar's downtown area doesn't have much in terms of accommodation, but you'll be able to stay in one of the 3 hotels within 10 kilometres of the action.

A hectic day of seeing the sights can really wear you out. Zonk out at Ard na Sidhe Country House and Carrig Country House, a couple of the most central hotels you'll find.

Sitting 30 kilometres north of Glencar is Tralee, a regional hub with a population of 23,000. It's home to some awesome attractions, like the Ballyseedy Memorial, St. John's Parish and Tralee Town Park. The Kerry County Museum and the National Folk Theatre are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some choice photo ops.
