The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station. There are numerous places to eat within walking distance. It is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent

Fantastic location opposite the station and easy to get bus to Mount Fuji. The rooms are tired and small but clean. Shower is small but works well. The hallway carpet is very worm and gives the hotel an unloved feel. Great breakfast - go for this option.

Super bad experience - do not ever consider
At a red light district area with hookers & drunkards hanging around the hotel area. Room is very old & dodgy looking, with cabinets falling apart, toilet bowl damage, bedding in super old condition with a smell. The worst part is the reception (night shift guy) he is super rude & mean to Asians and he declined our request for extra pillows (the room comes with only one very flat old pillow) and smile politely to his Japanese guest. All of us had a hard time sleeping in the room.
