Worst little pub in tassie to stay in. Their moto.( on a teatowel for sale $25) Stayed in many places for last 18mth working and travelling in tas. This is definitely the worst. Really needs maintenance and TLC in the cabin we stayed.. called Hilton Broken draws, uncomfortable broken fold out sofa. 1 person slept on the cushions on the floor. Breakfast supplied cereal and bread but no table or chair to eat at. NO hot water in morning for shower or to do dishes. Meal in restaurant parmi, now that something to get right but No. Dry, no flavour and comes out cold.. my kids nuggets were better then mine. Tv in restaurant couldn't work as owner had no batteries for the remote. Grounds need a good tidy up. When you pay $150 a night you expect the basics to get right Best part was the air con so we were warm Either the owner has lost interest in the property or is in wrong line of business .

Wonderful friendly host, great food and excellent bar and wine. The charming historic hotel have good beds, clean sheets and several shared bathrooms. We had a memorable stay and made several new friends in the convivial setting.

Friendly personal service. Basic rooms (bed and not much else) but excellent bedding and clean shared old fashioned bathrooms with showers. Shared hallway so you can hear people in the hallway that gives a shared dorm feel.

Great hospitality and dog friendly
A lovely, authentic, historic country pub. Most welcoming owners, delicious food. Very dog friendly - our pooch was not only welcomed with open arms, but treated like royalty!

Sadly the hotel is run down and needs attention. Room clean but small and basic. $125 for this room not value for money. Hotel run down and needs major renovation. Outside area for RV is very good, however pub lacking.

This place is basic but beautiful in an amazing location. It offers great value for money, beautiful clean bedding, comfortable beds, great big fluffy towels and excellent hot water. Lots of heating in the bedroom and bathroom area, plus a cosy open fire in the lounge. Staff were really friendly and gave great local travel advice. I felt safe and looked after, even staying on my own. I was very appreciative of their kindness and hospitality.
