Hard to see at night when we arrived at 1am. The room smelled really bad.. super musty smelling Nd the chairs had stains we were afraid to sit on them. My family had other rooms and when we went to theirs it didn’t smell.

How lovely to roll in from a drive through the desert on our adventure starting earlier in the day in Las Vegas to such a warm, welcoming environment. After a short check in, we were treated to a full blown traditional Thanksgiving meal in their Food Court. Our room is cozy and has everything one could need. Best of all, we are strategically in the middle of all the action which will be super convenient come morning. The canyon is literally a stone's throw away!

Maswick Lodge is perfect for families who are looking to be at the canyon without breaking the budget. Plentiful quality rooms and facilities. Dining area mostly good with choices, although some food turned out more cafeteria style than restaurant style. But for the mass of guests they deal with they do an excellent job and offer very good service.

The accommodations are very good. The plumbing, HVAC, and lighting had no issues. The double queen room was a good size for 3 people and we also had a patio with chairs. The only issue is that the bathroom had a sliding door that had a 1 inch gap when closed, so it did not provide privacy. The food court food is just ok and resembles cafeteria food.

We stayed in one of the older buildings and felt it was quite dark. There were two metal chairs in the room which were incredibly uncomfortable to sit in. Our TV screen was blurry. The bathroom pipes 'hummed' and there were feces on the sheets on the second bed. The plus side was that it was convenient from a hop on/hop off buses.

Exhausted from hiking...we were looking for a good night sleep...except we had to call security do to excessive talking on the hall plus thin walls between rooms. Toilet pump is loud even when not in use.

Loved the place. Very clean and well maintained, the shuttle system makes it easy to get around. We had an upstairs room, all rooms have balconies. WiFi is available but doesn’t work very well on my phone. The TV picture quality was awful, but they are working on it. I brought my Fire TV stick and it worked well.
