I loved everything, very modern for the area, staff are very nice and accommodating. Very close to a lot of tourist hot spots. THE VIEW FROM THE ROOF… AMAZING. Two things are keeping me from rating it a 5/5. … 1. The shower doesn’t get super hot. (It’s ok for really hot days but my last day there was pretty cold and I opted to not wash my hair because the water was way too cold for me). 2. As we were checking out, the staff at the front desk wouldn’t let us go because two small blankets weren’t in the room. We almost missed our cab (which was hard to get) and the blankets in question were removed from our room by staff two days prior. I didn’t appreciate being blamed for the missing blankets nor that we almost missed our cabs because of it. Other than that, our trip would have been perfect.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the center of everything. Has a great rooftop bar, shaded courtyard and pool, friendly and helpful staff, and a good breakfast.

Very clean, the most comfortable bed ever!!, amazing roof top views, good food and drinks, great service. Excellent location, you can walk to many important spots. So close to Callejon del Beso but yet very quiet and relaxing. Has A/C and a pool!

Bad reservation customer service
The hotel was very nice. But I paid for 3 nights and only stayed 2. Originally I booked 3 nights, three days prior to arriving I talked to a Hotels.com customer rep and I asked to change my reservation for 2 nights. The rep told me that he tried to contact the hotel to confirm the change but got no answer. I was told via email that I could adjust my reservation at the hotel and was directed to show the email at the hotel. When I arrived, the hotel front desk person said that they couldn't adjust the reservation, that only Hotels.com could. I the end we left a day early, but I was charged for 3. Disappointing

The hotel is beautiful, the property renovated, clean and upscale. It’s surroundings are not great, getting there is complicated. The staff is friendly but could work on being a bit more helpful.

I got to my hotel late due to a plane delay but they were gracious enough to reassure me I did not need to worry about having a room. My stay was comfortable and close to many local tourist attractions. The view from the rooftop is amazing.

This is truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms and grounds were clean and beautiful. It's in a fantastic location in walking distance to lots of parks, restaurants, and shops. The staff was generally friendly, especially the housekeeping and spa staff. The beds were super comfy; the bathroom large and luxurious. A few things to note: * Our room key deactivated every day for the first part of our trip. I was told it was because the key was close to my phone which deactivates it, but even after I moved the key, I had some troubles. I'm not sure why this happened, but the front desk made me new keys each time... * If you have a car, driving to this property is...tight. You drive through a fairly tight alley/road and at one point, you will feel like you might not fit. We made it, but it was one of the wilder driving experiences of my life. * If you have a car, their free parking spaces are at a shopping center about 1 km away. The distance isn't too bad but the walk to and from is very hilly and steep. We ended up taking Ubers back and forth to the shopping center when we needed the car for day trips. These points didn't take away from our enjoyment of the hotel. I would stay there again! It is a delightful property. Honestly, if you don't need a car for your stay in Guanajuato, I'd not rent one. Ubers are reasonably priced and so much is within walking distance.

Wonderful Stay at Antigua Trece
Took a family trip to visit Guanajuato and Antigua Trece was a fantastic choice for our large group of 8 with kids in tow. The common areas and private rooms were lovely and clean, and the staff was always attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool, the rooftop, the breakfast, all facets of the hotel. The only precaution would be for people sensitive to noise, the callejonadas pass through the street in front of the hotel so it can be noisy on the weekends, but that definitely wouldn't stop us from staying at this wonderful hotel again. Thank you for such an amazing stay!
