What could be more enjoyable than chanting until your voice is hoarse at a soccer match? Watch the Aalesunds FK compete at Color Line Stadium, located in Alesund, 30 kilometres away. Alternatively, experience the buzz of a live home game featuring the Fortuna Ålesund.

If you journey 11 kilometres to the east from Heroy, you'll find Ulsteinvik. Some travellers like to use this destination as a base to go to Torvik Ferry Terminal and the Sunnmore Golf Club.

Going to Alesund? This place is 30 kilometres to the northeast. If you're staying here a while, make sure you check out Sukkertoppen, Alesund Church and the Alesund Museum. Also consider swinging by the Jugendstilsenteret and Sunnmore Museum.
