After the energy of Hanoi this was a lovely tranquil place to land. Super helpful team who also helped arrange all onwards travel. Had a great feast cooked for me too.

Friendly and helpful staff. Efficient check in & check out process. The massage service was excellent and cost effective.

Staff needs more training as they seem to be clueless sometimes.

Good place to stay in Ha Giang, a bit outside the main part of town which was both good and bad: good in that it was quieter, and less likely to be a roudy, party-like atmosphere, but this also means that you have to walk a bit to reach restaurants if you want (the hotel does have a restaurant on site, so that helps). A couple of things brought this down to a four-star review: 1) We were woken up by roosters very early in the morning. While this is likely out of the hotel's control, it's something to be aware of. 2) The room was cold, and while a space heater was provided it didn't work with the outlets provided in the room. This might have been due to the somewhat unseasonable cold weather that northern Vietnam was having when we visited, so if it was warmer outside this probably wouldn't be an issue.

After 4 days riding a motorcycle around Northern Vietnam this hotel was extremely comfortable. Comfortable bed, never ending hot water, the food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I asked for a sauna & massage, I tried telling the girls i wanted the sauna first but they had no interest in figuring out what i was saying and then my hour long massage only lasted about 40 minutes and was still charged full price. So if i had it to do over I'd stay at same hotel but probably get my massage somewhere else
