Has the older smell like some places in Waikiki do (our carpet felt wet? Not sure why) Needs some updating. But the bed was clean and love the location of the hotel, walkable to beach and shops. The Coconut club for breakfast is an amazing option! $55 for everyone in your room total! And great food/view for breakfast.

Rooms are still old. Shower was leaking all night. The ac felt like the room had to be either hot or cold no in between. On the flip side we like ocean front view, it's literally across the street from the beach, and because you stay here you get free rentals for the beach everyday. 4 out of 5 stars

The rooms were tired looking. Not what I expected from web site. Clean however and staff very friendly and helpful. Great location. Microwave in room would be great but I was aware they did not have them and most places don’t. All in all ok value for money.

I was very excited to stay at this hotel after seeing reviews . When i got there i was pretty shocked.not only dis they want a 250 deposit which i was unaware of and which is higher than Sheraton and outrigger by double. Also the place was run down and very dirty . Stains in tje couch and bed frame and also some crust on headboard and i dont wanna know what it was . I had to call for technician cause my bath drain was plugged. Carpets felt beyond grimmey. Elevators take forever!!! I also saw two homeless men sleeping on the pool chairs that are meant for guests. I extended my stay a few hrs to accommodate my late flight first house keeper came asking me about checking out and i informed her i extended and she asked me if i told them down stairs o said yes i did … couple hrs later a housekeeper just walks in while my daughters fresh out shower. They sent up house keeping manager that had nothing to say security tried butting in more than anything . Manager at front desk called my room and was great he fixed things . But overall so unhappy with the hotel . It needs to be cleaned and fixed up
