This property was great. The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was the $700 hold fee. That is a very large amount and if that’s the maximum they can hold, why hold the entire $700? It was an unexpected expense especially being on vacation and being out $700 until check out. Otherwise, the hotel is great. The workers were amazing and gave excellent recommendations.

I liked the adult only atmosphere. I liked the nightly activities it offered. Staff was friendly and the valet was very helpful. Parking is awful around hotel and expensive at hotel 54/nite.

Aesthetics of this property and in room decor is spot on. Location location location! Easy walking distance from all the Waikiki hot spots and beaches. One thing I miss when I'm on my vacation is my bidet. Not here! They have bidets in their room! I had one incident where housekeeping left my door open while we were out all day. Thankfully I had my valuables locked up in the room safe. This wouldn't stop me from booking with them again. It's a new hotel and hopefully they'll learn from this mistake.

In the heart of Waikiki. Easy walk to many restaurants, and shops, a short walk to the beach. Convenient for renting a car in the International Marketplace for a day trip. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Allowed us to check in about 1-2 hours early. We liked that they gave us refillable water bottles with a filling station on the ground floor. Bed was comfortable. The only negatives were that we could hear people talking in the hall when they came in late into the night. Also, since there was no shower door, we couldn't figure out how to keep the floor from getting wet while showering. But overall, it was a pleasant place to stay for a couple nights.

Great stay at Romer House. The property is well located with nice facilities. I didnt mind that room service was not done daily but there was no fixed schedule so wasnt sure when the job would be done next.

It’s very close to everything, just a 5 min walk from the beach. The pool is heated and convenient for those chill days. They close the pool at 10pm so it’s perfect if you wanna stay at the hotel at night instead of going out. They have some very good deals during happy hour so try them. I would love to come back for sure. Already miss being there!

Do NOT waste your money on this hotel. Their main pic of the front of the hotel does not even come close to what the property looks like. Broken up / cracked / uneven sidewalk in front of hotel. AC did not work. TV did not work. Fridge did not work. Eventually found that for some reason the TV power and HDMI Cable were unplugged, and the fridge was unplugged. AC was set to 59 Degrees, but NEVER got below 78 deg. When calling Front desk, the phone rang and rang for about 10 minutes every time we needed to call them. Poor & extremely dim lighting in the room. Only one wall switch for the lights and that's for the bathroom. They do not offer Housekeeping every day... it is ONLY every other day. When Housekeeping did come in, all they did was make the beds. No replenishment of towels or toilet paper. No vacuuming of the floor. Because of them NOT answering their phone, we went down to request towels & toilet paper. They said they would send some up... well what a surprise, they NEVER did send anything up. Their breakfast options are very limited. Their pool is a small barbie doll pool. You are pretty much forced to use the Valet Parking because you will NOT find any available parking nearby.

They charge you resort fee but they are not a resort. They have a very little pool and don’t have a gym. They say housekeeping is every other day but we weren’t scheduled for even every other day. I really needed to fight to get the housekeeping which they didn’t even change the sheets, clean the toilet etc. You get what you pay for. Additionally, bartender girl in the pool area is literally has no idea how to make cocktails. However charge expensive amount for cocktails.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. the staff is upbeat and helpful. I was there three weeks ago and they remembered me. That says a lot considering the amount of guests they see everyday.

Room that I had may not have had a balcony, but it was nice, spacious, king size bed, and a waterfall shower head. Front desk staff was all right, but the bar staff was awesome. Wading pool definitely needs to be cleaned though.
