This historic hotel is truly one of a kind! It’s the oldest in the area and has been beautifully renovated. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. We stayed in the charming and spacious attic suite, and we absolutely loved it! We loved this hotel so much that we even bought a miniature clay building of it as a souvenir. We highly recommend this hotel, and when we get the chance to visit the area again, we will definitely stay here once more!

The room and hotel were very rustic and a pleasure to visit. No shower curtain which was weird for me. But otherwise all was great.

This hotel was amazing! So beautiful and charming. It was the perfect place to stay in an already adorably charming town. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the bathroom was huge and lovely, and the dining area was off-the-charts lovely. The breakfast (with candlelight and so much food) was terrific, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that our ceiling fan kept mysteriously shutting off in the middle of the night. If we had been staying another night, I would have asked about it. But that could not dampen our enthusiasm for this incredible hotel.

Historic hotel great location
Obviously the oldest historic hotel we ever stayed in. Clean professional great location. Manager has parking vouchers for 20 euros to park across the street- very thoughtful. Great location in medieval town

Historic building. Great location. Internet STINKS! Felt like I got hustled on check out. I went to pay and the card machine was "broken". No alternate for taking the card or running the card on file. Had to pay cash. Luckily I had enough, but it cleaned me out. Very strange and awkward.

Staff is superb! Really the best we’ve experienced. Huge, clean bathroom! Love the rustic charm. Fruhstuck is excellent and desserts are wonderful.

The hotel was excellent. The rooms were very large with expansive bathrooms. The location was incredible. This is a historic hotel that like the city, can pose problems with people with disabilities. It did have an elevator. The included breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was off location so there was a few blocks walk. Will go back our next trip. I highly recommend.

Great location!
Breakfast was great. The hotel is incredible and the staff was very friendly. They let us leave our suitcases at the front desk after check out so that we could continue to explore the city before catching our train.

Comfortable Hotel in Heart of Rothenberg
This was a lovely hotel right off of the main square. Great location and very comfortable. They had a nice breakfast option every morning and a wonderful / nice staff. I highly recommend this place. One note: there is no parking so one needs to find parking in a nearby parking lot. For 10 euro, they will give you a day parking pass.
