This place is not worth the price: 1- They assigned my room to someone else and attempted to make me stay in a lower-level room, claiming I didn't check in at the correct time. However, I had informed them about my late arrival several days prior. 2- I found hair on the bed after checking in. 3- I requested additional towels, but despite promising to bring them twice, they never did. I find this disrespectful. 4- There's construction in the adjacent building which creates significant noise starting at 8am. 5- The air conditioning doesn't work in cool mode.

This is my second time at Dora Pera, its my favorite hotel, very clean, big rooms and comfortable. Very near to the metro station only 5 mins walking, bus station is just in front of the hotel 1 min walking, very near to istiklal street and galata tower, i would recommend for everyone, breakfast very good quality and big variety. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for solo and families travelers.

I was expecting just a functional business stay at Dora Pera, but the hotel exceeded my expectations. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. There were some late party-ers in the room next door, but the noise is what you would expect in this part of Istanbul. Overall, highly recommend!

good location which is very close to the Metro station and Galata Tower. The only downside was that there were very limited tables for breakfast so you had to wait for other people to finish their meals or sit next to other families. It's a very clean and quiet 3-star hotel.

Overbooked and told look for hotel
We have booked a 2 night stay for my 73 year old father, who was checking in at 10 pm. upon check in they told us , first , that the AC is not working in our room and we have to look for a new hotel room. We said we would still take it ,but they lied that there is one available and finally acknowledged they overbooked and we must look for the hotel ourselves , at 10 pm!!!l The receptionists are not helpful, don’t care about anything but smoking and chatting, they first promised to pay for hotel next door but upon checking in there they said that the price is too high for them. Very very disappointing experience which this hotel !

When we arrived at the hotel, they told me that the triple delux room i had booked for my wife and was not available. They told me that they would upgrade and provide 2 single rooms and split me and my wife, we had no choice but take this option and so my wife and i stayed in separate rooms for 6 nights. I have been traveling for the last 45 years and this is the first time a hotel told me that the room i booked and paid in advance was not available
