Pros: Very good location, between 2 tram stations and only few meters to the famous area of Sultanahmet with its all attractions including Ayasophia and Gulhana park. The hotel entrance is on the main street on Sultanahmet (flat ground - that matters if you're travelling with elders)
Ibrahim at the reception, was very kind to change our room to the 1st floor instead of 2nd (even though the only available room was bigger than what I booked), only to assist my mother who has a knee issues, while there's no elevator in the building.
Cons:
- Walls are not soundproof, you can hear everything from other rooms, and there's no sign of "Quit hours", we had hard time listening to noisy songs from the next room at 2am.
- No elevator.
- No water boiler (electric kettle) in the room, if you want to make yourself a cup of coffee, then you have to go down the stairs to hotel dining room.
- Only 2 power outlet in the room, one of them is not near the bed.
