My Wife, who is mobility impaired, and I just spent six nights at this hotel. The staff could have not been more accommodating. They took us back and forth to all of the Mosques, museums, restaurants, shops, parking garages in their golf cart. They arranged excursions, which were perfect. Hotel standards, including food, were top level. They checked on us constantly. Location was perfect. Our thanks to this very professional staff and management.

The hotel is ideally located on a quiet, mostly car-free cobble stone street directly behind Haggia Sophia. You’ll hear the calls to prayer throughout the day (and early morning) and can walk to many of Istanbul’s main sights. Just blocks from Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and a lovely park with fountains and vendors selling roasted corn, bread and tea. Our room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. We were welcomed at the front desk by kind and efficient staff and enjoyed the delicious and bountiful breakfast buffet both mornings of our stay. Lots of great dining options nearby and trams connecting the city are accessible just a block away. We arranged a taxi to the airport through the hotel desk and they shuttled us in their “buggy” to the waiting van a few blocks away. Highly recommend this hotel!

Nice sized room with comfortable bed cleaned daily. Staff really helpful and friendly who drove us to the taxi rank when we were leaving as traffic was unable to stop outside…because we were a stone’s throw from the Hagia Sofia!! So well positioned for that and all the other main attractions. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future.

The hotel staff was extremely hospitable, friendly and nice. They also were a great assistance in arranging a very early transportation from Istanbul hotel ottoman to the airport for a flight to Sofia Bulgaria and did a wonderful job including packing me a lunch since I would miss breakfast that day. I really appreciate the support and I think this is a great place to stay.

Comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast and reception team were really helpful The only downside of the Ottoman Hotel was that it was quite noisy outside the hotel on the side of the hotel where our bedroom was located

I’m not sure where to begin. The rooms are in disrepair. I’m not sure what’s going on. There has been no renovation or anything in decades. The furniture, walls, bathroom were just in poor condition. We stayed here over 10 years ago, and do not remember this condition. The pillows felt like they were a decade old, like hard as a rock. If you are desiring location, a nice restaurant and great customer service, but don’t mind poor room conditions, then this is the place for you. I’m doubting we will ever stay here again.
