This hotel is one of the cleanest hotel which I stayed. bed linen, pillows sheets very clean and white. Beds was comfortable. l slept very well. Central location, blue mosque, hagia sophia on the walking distance. Grand Bazaar 3 minutes, hotel is next to tram station. Easy to accessable. Hotel staff very helpfull, they helped me for directions. breakfast was delicious and lots of options open buffet. my room and roof top view breathtaking. wi-fi was fast. it didn't cut. l worked for a while on the terrace with my coffee. As a single traveler, l felt safe in this hotel. l love it. l definately will come again. highly recommend it

The staff are welcoming, friendly and Chedym is very helpful with local information. The breakfast is fresh, tasty and filling, with options for different tastes. The rooms, although in an older hotel are clean, comfortable with functional air con, wifi and hot shower. Position in town is perfect!

The staff was wonderful, but there was no lift. Luckily we only had to carry are luggage up to the 1st floor. The room was not as clean as I would like, I wiped down all the dust with my clorox wipes. There was a small amount of mildew on the bathroom walls. The sink, shower and toilet shared the same floor so if you took a shower floor was completely wet on entering the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, but the view was spectacular. The hotel is on the tram line so use Airport Transfer to get to Hotel, taxi drivers will leave you the closest they feel and you have to walk to hotel.

The hotel is in a great location near to the Blue Mosque, Sofia Mosque, Cistern and palace. The only thing to be aware is that the Hotel doesn't accept credit card and their exchange rate is not convenient, so bring euros to pay the stay. Other than that the hotel is good. The view from the terrace is awesome. Breakfast is good.

My experience of Sultanahmet Hotel
The main advantage of the hotel is its central location although it is slightly overshadowed by the fact that it is on a busy tramway hence not accessible to taxis at the doorstep. This is however made up by the very courteous hotel staff who accompany you across the road to the taxi. Secondly, the hotel staff are very courteous and perform their duties efficiently and with a smile. Beyond this, I am afraid that there is very little to talk positively about. We had a double and a single room. The rooms are sold as non-smoking but clearly my room had been smoked in before I moved in. The rooms are small with a lot of dirt under the beds. There are no showers although the advert says otherwise. It is only a shower head installed over the toilet which in itself is quite small. This certainly does not a shower make. The breakfast was of good quality, freshly made and served with a smile but the much talked about view from the terrace is spoiled by the extension towards the front on the adjacent building. It is however possible to see part of the Blue Mosque. The major drawback during breakfast was guests smoking. Overall, my experience was disappointing, but some people will clearly see an advantage in the location of the hotel. I would like to say thanks to the hotel staff for their courtesy during our stay.

We booked two room - a double and a single. The major disappointment was that neither of them had a proper shower. What is sold in the name of a shower is a shower head installed in the toilet. The space was too small in case of the double room. The hotel has a very convenient location being within walking distance from attractions but this is slightly marred by its location on a busy tramway and therefore taxis cann

Book with them, you wont regret it at all. The service both brothers provided was impeccable. They taught me so much about Turkish history and made sure I was welcomed and safe throughout my trip. They are both also very handsome and Egemen made sure I booked the best tours. My flight had a 2 hour delay but Egemen asked the driver to wait for me for over two hours, they were very kind. The terrace is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast is really good as well. The hotel was clean and very safe. Egemen and his brother were honestly the best. They will take care of you.
