Wonderful charming hostel!
I absolutely love it here! The front desk staff are great people, the building is charming and the room has a lot of character. Wifi works great. The neighborhood is VERY lively, and I can see why they say it's not for kids. If you want to see some local color and nightlife, this is the place for you. If you're an older traveler looking for a peaceful / expensive area where nothing ever happens ... maybe you should pick a different hostel. :)

The owner is very nice and take care always also staff too, Hostel is easy to go to istikal street and stay between Taksim & Sishane station.

Bitten but ok
A bit noisy outside and too many mosquitoes. They did supply a fan which was nice. Friendly staff. They didn't mind me arriving at midnight thanks to a delayed flight. I hadn't realized that Taksim is a 24hour area. If you like clubs and bars then visit this area. Nice artwork in my room

This hostel is an OK place to stay only if you are not a very demanding person (All you need is a bed to sleep) with very basic facilities, and some intermittently working wifi. Clean bed, sheets, towel, etc; hot water, small table, a seat, and some storage facilities. It has lovely and very friendly staff, whom are always looking and willing to help, with nice communal lounge and kitchen. Very convenient location within walking distance (3mins) from Istiklal Cd (Oxford Street of Istanbul, shops, restaurants, etc), and Taksim Metro station (5-7mins). Good thing all I needed and expected for the price I paid was a bed to sleep, because I got a lot more.
