Hotel was clean and customer service decent. Our room was clean, comfortable and recently renovated. The restaurant closed at 8pm which I felt was fairly early for a Saturday and the biggest reason for the 3 star only review was the non working pool & hottub. I booked this place because they had a hot tub however when we arrived we were informed it does not work. Seems like this is a reoccurring issue after reading a few reviews. Overall the stay was ok however I likely will not be back due to the lack of/limited amenities

Good stay, will be back.
My husband and I decided to come up to Jasper for a night to come see all the damage from the fires this past summer. We brought our two little dogs with us and we just walked around town and we also did our Christmas shopping in Jasper to help the economy and local shops. It was a good little getaway but very sad to see the devastation. Forest Park Hotel was very quiet, just like everywhere in Jasper. I’ve never see the town this quiet. It was eerie. The hotel was quiet, clean, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately for us, the hot tub was under maintenance so we couldn’t enjoy a little soak but not a big deal. The restaurant was good and the service was quick. The room was very nice and clean. I love the black out floor to ceiling curtains. My only complaint was that the pillows were very soft and thin. I didn’t sleep that good and woke up with a kink in my neck. If you like a solid pillow, bring your own or ask for more pillows. But all in all a great stay. Would definitely recommend and be back.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Forest Park Hotel. We were unexpectedly upgraded to the new building which had large balconies, modern decor and comfortable beds. We had dinner and cocktails at the lounge and enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again!

Suites are a great addition to this property. We were unfortunately given a room right beside the elevator and the elevator mechanical room - this made for a noisy stay - both with the hallway noise as well as the pulsating mechanical vibrations coming through the wall.

So appreciative for the upgrade, thank you so much! Was on the newer side of the hotel and it was a beautiful room and we loved having the kitchenette. Only thing I would suggest to add is a spatula as that made making eggs kinda difficult without one and adding another role of toilet paper to the room.
