The staff is very friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily. The buffet breakfast is delicious with a great selection. Dinner is offered as well, which is very convenient if you don't feel like driving into the city. Overall, a nice place to stay!

It is a wonderful place especially when you have your kids along. Everything is just fine about it and you get access to the park all time during your stay and that is really entertaining.

Quite suprising hotel, which is actually a youth hotel... I arrived quite late with the reception closed and I had to open on my knees and in the dark some kind of safe where my key was... This was the only unpleasant experience... Apart from that, the room was quiet, the bed confortable and the breakfast tasty... To be noticed for guests with kids: there are big playing grounds directly inside the hotel, they are going to have a lot of fun...

Good price point about 30 minutes from Cologne.
Built in 2015 this hotel is Modern, clean and efficient. It is a basic room of reasonable size with a good bathroom. The breakfast was full and excellent for being included in room price. The hotel is not located near much of anything but there is a small town with a couple restaurants a short drive away. There is also a cafe at the hotel though I didn't use it others were enjoying beer on tap, coffee and light food items.

Nice Hotel in a calm area.
Great place next to an amazing river and nice fields. A car is recommended if intending to travel to the city center of Julich or to a nearby area.

Nice hotel with friendly, English-speaking staff.
I stayed at JUFA Jülich for almost 2 weeks and was very pleased with my experience. All members of the staff (who had direct contact with hotel guests) spoke excellent English. Sinice I am an American with limited German vocabulary, I relied heavily on their hospitality and was pleased to find that they were incredibly accomodating. The free breakfast buffet was quite good, with enough options to please those with picky tastes. Lunch and dinner usually consisted of traditional German dishes and were generally of good quality, though on the expensive side price-wise. The bar also offered a variety of beer and wine and was well tended. Though minimalist in design and feature, the rooms were quite comfortable, very clean, and relatively spacious. Housekeeping was excellent and always made sure to clean the rooms thoroughly. The hotel is a short (less than 2 km) and beautiful walk (along the river) to the center of Jülich, but taxis are also easy to order and quick to arrive if walking is undesirable. It should be noted that JUFA is VERY family friendly. As such, there were usually a large number of children (especially during the weekend). JUFA has many offerings to entertain children of all ages, though, so there was minimal disruption or noise in the hotel. All in all, I had an excellent experience at JUFA Jülich and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stay in that area.

Young family friendly hotel but good for business
The JUFA chain of hotels are primarily aimed at young families and groups of children, but as a business traveller I found it very pleasant and a nice change from the usual 'business' hotels. The room was comfortable and clean if a little spartan. Wifi is good. The buffet breakfast was great and a very reasonable buffet lunch and dinner also available. Access from the the autobahn and parking is very easy and the centre of Julich is a very pleasant 20mn walk away.

Lovely
This hotel was great! We picked it because we had family in the area and so wanted to be close to them. The room was very clean and well organized. The staff was really friendly and most of them spoke english, which was a huge plus for us. The breakfast included with your room had bacon and eggs which is so unusual in Europe but a huge bonus for us. I would for sure recommend this location and the whole chain to use while staying in that area of Germany.

The hotel was ok, The staff were excellent, helpful above and beyond. The internet service was terrible. I could not even get connected because I didnt have a German phone number to send the details to. How stupid!

Overall brilliant!
Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Comfy beds, lots to do around the area, good breakfast, friendly staff, very clean. Only negative: Stayed out of season, finding food late in the evening a problem, come prepared! Short drive to Aachen .
