when I opened my door to the apartment I was blown away by the stench of stale cigarette smoke. I had arrived after 5.00pm (5.30PM) and there was no reception open..... They had put scented sticks to try and mask the smell and it just made it worse........nearly vomit worthy. The taps for the shower had fallen off and there was signs on the washing machine dated September saying it was out of order. I will say they came round later that morning and attended to the taps and the washing machine. BUT the stench WOW it is embedded into the furniture and curtains

Property was great. Wotif was terrible!! I will book directly next time since Wotif cancelled my booking the night before Parkview were helpful and found me a room, NO thanks to Wotif!

The good - bed was really comfortable, the complex clean, room clean and had everything we needed. 2 block walk to the convention centre and Southbank. Check in and out was easy. The bad - the shower water pressure was TERRIBLE! Washing hair was a nightmare. Bottom floor unit has no sound proofing at all. Could hear every footstep and people talking and coughing outside the room at all hours. Would stay again, but would request a different room, convenience was great to everything in Southbank and price was good.

Location is great and only a 5 minute walk to Southbank. Close to everything you need. Unfortunately rather dated and basic inside our “Deluxe” apartment. Not very clean, surfaces got wiped everywhere but that’s it, not a proper clean. Bathroom sink hot tap leaks soaking the worktop when used, small ants climb out and swarm around the sink so had to clog up the gap with wet tissue to stop them, when entering the apartment and when been out for the day with windows closed there is a musty smell… like shower drains or dampness. Fairly cheap price so it’s not the end of the world but I feel it should be better.

Great place to stay
This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I wasn’t disappointed with the accommodation or staff. Favourite place to stay while visiting Brisbane due to the availability of parking within the facility, places to eat nearby (restaurants and cafes), train station within a ten minute walk, South Bank and the city within walking distance to name just a few conveniences available very close to Parkview Apartments.
