Great hotel for your visit to Meteora.
The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is comfy, and the area is really quiet. Great breakfast. The hosts are so very welcoming and accommodating - the owner drove us to the train station when it was time to leave!
Just a heads-up: the hotel is located at the top of a road with a fairly steep incline. I came with only a day pack and was so glad that I had left my luggage back in Athens, because the road isn't even paved in some areas - just packed dirt and loose pebbles in places. If you think you will have difficulty reaching the hotel via an 800-meter climb up a dirt road that feels like it's on a 50-degree upward angle, consider taking a taxi.
Also, there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity. At the end of our Meteora sunset tour, our tour operators dropped us off at the restaurant of our choice (thanks, Visit Meteora!) and we just walked back to the hotel after dinner. The restaurants are closer to the hotel than the main train station, but just keep in mind the uphill trek I wrote about before. It took us 20 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel, and it took 15 to get from the area with the restaurants to the hotel.
