Go 50 kilometres southeast and you'll find yourself in Trogir, a regional centre with a population of 11,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, whip out your selfie stick and get your tourist on at Trogir Main Square, Cathedral of St. Lawrence and Kamerlengo Fortress. Cipiko Palace and Radovan's Portal are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some choice photo ops. There are a number of great hotels where you can score a cosy room for a couple of nights in Trogir. Have a squiz at the facilities at the Hotel Trogir Palace and Hotel Bellevue.

On the plane? Freaking out cos you've got nowhere to stay at the other end? Don't stress! Chances are you'll be able to crash at the Villa PaPe. It's not far from Split Airport, which is 50 kilometres from the centre of Kaprije.
