Staff was good, room was clean. Whomever owns the property, needs to rethink the handicap areas. Not good. Bartender did not need to tell us he was in the bathroom! Not professional! Location was good, parking was good.
The hotel is nice. The room was nice. The king bed was not very comfortable. It dipped severely. The provided pillows were really flat. Even doubled up, your head still goes all the way to the bottom. The room we stayed in was on the alley side. We were awaken at 5am to the sound of trucks, people hollering and back up alarms.
We stayed here last year and it was excellent.
Great location. Excellent staff, very friendly and answered all our questions when asked about suggestions for restaurants, things to do etc.

An upgrade is NOT on the 3rd floor!
We were told at check in that we we were UPGRADED to a king size room with a city view (which is what I paid for to begin with). The UPGRADE was all the way to the 3rd (THIRD) floor. Really? The hotel has 8 floors, and I seriously don't think of the 3rd floor as much of an UPGRADE. I think the problem LIES when the hotel has an entire Broadway theater company staying in house. I assume the real persons who got UPGRADED were those persons. It's very sad when paying customers get overlooked and the hotel wants to kiss-ass to theatrical workers.
Outstanding location for walking around Knoxville. Great rooftop bar. Really liked everything except for the fact the hotel doors slam shut loudly and echo up and down the halls. So this went on at all hours when people came and went.
