I would pass
Good location but hotel is old and has a weird smell. Daily onsen tax due at checkout. Shower had mildewy smell and visible mold on tile. Turned me off to even try the hotel onsen because I was afraid it was too dirty. Very traditional breakfast and nice experience every morning. It will definitely have you try new foods. Shuttle was helpful to the station.

Staff was amazing. Location was great, near Lawson convenience store. Breakfast was good. Less than 10 mins walk to Kawaguchiko station. If you have luggage, you can call them to arrange for shuttle pick-up. You can also book private onsen for an additional charge.

We stayed in their condo as a splurge for our honeymoon and VERY glad we did. Things close early in the area so we knew we wanted a great place to stay and relax. As a vacation hotel room, this space is amazing! I will say though, quality of what is within the room was a bit inconsistent with how luxe it appeared, for example: toilet paper was terrible, towels were super thin and rough, the laundry room included was actually super tiny under a staircase and a shock that they'd even want guests to step in there (I ended up paying for the coin laundry down the street which was SO nice). So despite the room aesthetics being super nice, there was definitely some head tilting moments of wondering if some things were neglected and cheap, and just nice at the surface... I don't feel inclined to book again.
